Head of Legal

We're looking for a Head of Legal with an international background — someone ready to take full ownership of the company's legal function and build out the department for the long haul. This role comes with relocation to Montenegro, fully arranged and funded by the company, including visa and legalization support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all legal matters for the company across multiple jurisdictions
  • Leading and managing the legal team
  • Assessing foreign jurisdictions for new entity registration and international tax planning
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with banks, payment providers, and business partners
  • Building and maintaining compliance and due diligence procedures, client agreements, and internal policies
  • Keeping the holding’s corporate documentation accurate and up to date
  • Tracking regulatory changes across jurisdictions and adjusting processes accordingly
  • Handling employment law documentation and advising the team on legal questions as they come up.

Your Experience & Skills

  • A law degree with a background in international law
  • At least 3 years in a similar role
  • Fluent English, comfortable with legal terminology
  • Experience negotiating internationally and handling contracts in English
  • A structured, independent approach – someone who owns outcomes and doesn’t need hand-holding.
